Veterinary Surgery

Maze Animal Hospital offers many general and orthopedic surgical services.  We also offer the services of an American College of Veterinary Surgery orthopedic specialist, Philip Vasseur, DVM, Dip. ACVS.

General Surgery

General surgical procedures performed at Maze Animal Hospital include abdominal exploratory and internal organ biopsy, intestinal foreign body removal, urethral and bladder stone removal, castration, ovariohysterectomy (spay) and many more.  Please ask one of our staff members for more information.

Orthopedic Surgery

Many orthopedic surgical procedures are performed at Maze Animal Hospital including fracture repair, limb deformity correction, patella (knee cap) dislocation correction, and cruciate ligament repair with lateral suture or tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) techniques.  Dr. Philip Vasseur performs TPLO and other orthopedic procedures at Maze Animal Hospital on a referral basis.  Please ask one of our staff members for more information.
